Looks like Colt is being groomed for some future broadcasting duties. Getting a lot of air time on Golf Channel. Seems very comfortable, and I think he is doing a great job!

Kelly Kraft shoots course record 61 in third round of Barbasol...two down, and in really good shape to secure card and/or pig payday. Hope Kelly can finish strong!

Tough loss for Kelly. Had a one shot lead coming into # 16 and made bogey after hitting tee shot into bunker on par 3, then followed that with a 3 putt bogey on # 17 and needing to sink a long putt on # 18 for any chance of a tie and playoff, he left it low and short and never had a chance of even scaring the hole. That 1st win on the big tour remains a huge challenge for Kelly but a nice solo 2nd check ($378k) should land him in the top 125 on money list.

I see Kelly signed up to play the Barracuda in Reno this week rather than the St Jude in Memphis. Looks like the field will be similar to what he competed against last week. Hopefully an opportunity to compete for a win 2 consecutive weeks if he can ride this hot streak.

The St Jude is now a WGC event so I doubt he qualified so it probably wasn't his choice.

Bryson's 3 under 1st round has him T-13th and 5 shots back at the St Jude in Memphis. Kelly scored one point in his 1st round in Reno (Stableford scoring in the Barracuda event). He's in danger of missing the cut if he doesn't go on a birdie barrage today.

What a difference a week (and different golf course) can make. Kelly missed the cut in NV. Bryson playing the weekend but is well out of things and looking at a "thanks for playing" check this week. Both guys still having good years so far but tour life has to be a grind.

Harry Higgs won today on the Korn Ferry Tour, securing his PGA Tour card. It’s fun to now have one more pro to cheer for weekly on tour.

Bryson catching heat for his slow play. Sorry guys and gals but I commented on this the 1st time I watched him play. Plenty of his competitors appear to be attacking him. Hope he can remain focused through all the criticism.
