Another good start for Kelly. Bryson is struggling. Might be best if Bryson misses the cut and gets over a couple of days early for the Open. Time for him to start showing up in the majors.

I see that Bryson withdrew. Hopefully not because of an injury

Such a shame. He was really looking forward to defending his title.

Good to see Kelly playing great again..hopefully he can carry momentum into British Open and playoffs. Also, our former men's golf coach and alum Josh Gregory has been coaching Kelly the past 2 years...His stable of players is growing pretty quickly on the PGA Tour: Patrick Reed, Kelly Kraft, Si Woo kim, Grayson Murray, and a few others, and he is quickly being regarded as one of the top coaches on Tour. Obviously mistakes were made at SMU, but sure would be nice to see where the program would be today with him still at the helm

Ironically Gregory may still end up being an advantageous recruiting tool for SMU since he coaches in Dallas. I know I read somewhere that Noah Goodwin is coached by him too so rising stars may want to come to SMU simply to be close to him.

Kelly continuing his backward slide and after 10 holes today is now at minus 3 and 13 shots off the lead. Tour life is a challenge to stay both mentally and physically strong week after week.

Kelly's $12,354 check this week will at least help finance his trip to play in The Open Championship. Have to wonder whether Bryson will be making the trip

I think that is their time. He will tee off at 9:10 central. Right before Tiger.

Nice to see Bryson make the cut. It will make the weekend more exciting as we will have someone to pull for.
