Bryson's 3 under front nine got him to within 3 shots of the lead in final round but couldn't keep it going on back nine and looks like he will finish out of the top 10 this week. Still playing well early in this season.

Bryson birdies his 72nd hole at the Sony to finish 14 under and 8 shots off the lead...but that's good enough for a T-10th finish and a paycheck of $160,000. Another good week's work.

Season is young, but Bryson currently # 7 on this year's money list. Kelly sits at # 142 while Colt is not yet on the radar.

Kelly goes 2 over to miss the cut by 5 shots at the Farmers Open in California while Bryson elected to play the European Tour event in Dubai and is tied for the lead at minus 12. Ernie Els is competing well in that event and sits one back at minus 11

After round 3 in the Dubai Desert Classic, Bryson is now at 16 under and has a one shot lead. Purse is less than half of what they are playing for at the Farmers Open this week, so I assume Bryson got some guaranteed appearance money at this event.

Plus Dubai is really, really nice. Not a bad place to go for a week of golf, perfect weather this time of year.

Bryson fires an 8 under 64 to run away with the Dubai Classic. Finished 24 under and won by 7 shots! Ian Poulter and Sergio Garcia finished 8 back and T-3rd so it's not like it was a weak field.

Bryson's slow play getting more attention...especially after he smokes the field.

Meanwhile, both Kelly and Colt played in Phoenix this week but both missed the cut at 4 over

Bryson closes strong at the Saudi finishing 11 under and T-6th but couldn't catch Dustin Johnson who won by 2 shots at 19 under.

Kelly is the only Mustang playing at Pebble Beach this week and is 4 shots off the cut line with only 5 holes to play so appears he will miss another cut this week

Weather making it tough but both our guys in good position so far. Bryson at minus 4 after 12 holes of 2nd round and Kelly was 2 under in his 1st round but hasn't even started 2nd round. Tough way to play so should be interesting to see how they finish this week.

Kelly playing really well and is currently at minus 7 with Bryson not far behind at minus 5. Good weekend for the SMU boys.
