I know this was mentioned in a comment on the regular-season title thread, but what an OT golden goal from 30 yards out to end the game and win the conference tourney today at Westcott for #11 SMU, 2-1 over UCF.

It was broadcast on ESPNU so surely replays are available online.

Love it. Watching the relay with my boys this afternoon... Since the original was at 0300 for us.

Way to go...the program is really heading strongly in the right direction.

Just kidding, it is a GPS tracker. But surely they can find a better way to outfit the boys with a GPS.

Yeah we need to figure a little something better than that. Maybe something they can put in their manbun.

There is never a need to take off your jersey, but why in the world would you ever even consider doing it if you knew you were wearing a bra underneath???

Just ridiculous.

It's sort of a harness that holds a little monitor that tracks players' mileage, heart rate, etc. Lots of teams are wearing them and consider them valuable training tools.

Don't disagree but looks a bit odd. I would prefer they not Chastain us when they score.

Happens in Europe quite a bit now. They all wear them. Just not used to it over here yet.

Sadly pretty typical of ncaa....no seed for SMU even though we are ranked anywhere from 8-11 in the polls. First round matchup at home against some directional Arkansas school with a match against Georgetown in the second round.

maybe they saw the bras?

for those of us not in tune with soccer - what would you have expected? How many would be seeded and how many in tournament?

Through last week we were 11 in coaches poll and 18 RPI. Not having a seed means we were 17th or below.

Our rpi today is 17 and Georgetown is 19 but they got a seed. Makes no sense.

Of course it makes sense. You've simply got to look at the selection committee, which in this sport includes St. John's (a Big East colleague of G'town) but no one from the AAC:
