Over the weekend, the SMU men's soccer team shut out Vanderbilt, 5-0, Friday night to give head coach Schellas Hyndman his 250th victory since taking over as the Mustangs' coach in 1984. Then, Sunday afternoon, the Ponies blew out Belmont, 10-1, to improve to 14-2 this year. The win was SMU's 14th in a row after losing the first two games of the season, matching the longest winning streak in school history.

For Hyndman, the victories this weekend, plus the 98 wins he picked up at Eastern Illinois before moving to The Hilltop, give him 349 career victories. He goes for #350 Friday in Omaha when the Mustangs will beat Creighton before a sold-out crowd of roughly 4,000.

Good luck, Mustangs! Win one for the coach, and set a new school record in the process.
