Three Ponies make first-team All-America

Luchi Gonzalez has been recognized as the best player in the country. He's won the Hermann Trophy and the Misourri Athletic Conference Player of the Year awards. Now he's been named first-team All-America by adidas and the National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA). He's joined on the first team by midfielder Diego Walsh and goalkeeper Byron Foss.

Getting awards from the NSCAA is bigger than any magazine or other publication, because it's voted on by coaches - the guys who know the game the best. Having three first-teamers is HUGE for SMU.
