Meissner, Goodwin Garner All-America Honors
NORMAN, Okla. (SMU) – Sophomore Mac Meissner was named to the PING All-America Third Team and teammate Noah Goodwin earned an Honorable Mention nod, announced the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday.
"I'm very proud of these young men as they excelled on and off the course this season," said head coach Jason Enloe. "Our team's future looks great with these two mean leading the way along with the other young players we have on our team. I'm honored to be their coach."
The sophomore duo was named to the PING-All Region team in May while competing at the NCAA Championship. Meissner led the team finishing tied for 11th and Goodwin was the next highest Mustang on the leaderboard with a share of 36th place.
Goodwin and Meissner finished the season ranked 44 and 45 respectively by Golfstat following the NCAA Championship.
