Allen's Matt Wideman, widely regarded as the area's top keeper over the last two seasons, and forwards Ken Cooper of Jesuit and Jay Needham of Fort Worth Arlington Heights signed letters of intent with SMU.

The SMU women's team received commitments from Carrollton Christian's Olivia O'Rear, Flower Mound's Alyssa Pembroke and Richardson Pearce's Ashley Watson.

I'm furious that we don't have a new coach in place. This could really set the women's program back, YET again.

It already has. We had a commitment from a player from Duncanville, one of the top (women's) players in the state. She got tired of waiting to see who the new coach was going to be and bailed out. She's supposed to be really good.

Great news for our soccer team. On the heels of the football signings, this all seems to shaping up well for SMU. It is a shame that our women's team still has no coach named. What kind of "Commitment" is that?

Go Ponies!
