The SMU Lacrosse Team is #28 in Laxpower Rating, after its loss to Texas A&M, who moved to #6 after beating us. Interesting, we are behind #26 Texas Tech, who we beat. I am planning to attend U. of Texas game. Should be a good one. Go Ponies!

The U. of Texas game is this coming Saturday the 21st at SMU. Should be a great game. Everbody come out. Go Ponies. BTW, do you like the new LAX uniforms with the dark blue helmets and red Mustang? Pictures are on the SMU Lacrosse Homepage.

I like the helmets..they match the FB ones Image I liked the lettering on the old unis better, but I like the design of the news ones better.

SMU has agreed to allow the game this Saturday to be played on Wescott Field (the soccer field) as opposed to the intramural field.
Playing on grass will be a nice change from dirt/sand. Not to mention it should benefit SMU's speed.

Saturday 1 pm, Wescott Field.

Thanks, abs, for the update and good luck against U. of Texas Longhorns. I know they are good. Playing at Westcott will be a treat. We are flying in to see game.

Also, I heard that you might add a game against UC Davis. Is it on?

Go Ponies!

An update on the LaxPower Poll, SMU is #44 after the loss to A&M. Don't know how a loss to a Top Ten Team (Texas A&M is now #11) would drop us so far and much below Texas Tech, #29,, who we beat.

I guess we need to beat U. of Texas (#22) and go to the Lone Star Alliance Tournament on a roll. So be it.
