Fresno State has just announced that they will have to cut 3 sports to balance their budget, including their fairly successful mens Soccer team. At the same time, the fans on their message board are going postal because Womens basketball had its budget raised. Now they want to fire both the AD and the basketball coach, despite the fact she lead the team to its best season in the programs history, in her first year. Check out their message board sometime (The Barkboard) they're getting a bit psychotic over there.

Maybe some of their best men's soccer players will transfer to SMU. Question is would we want them?
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Maybe one or two. 6-7 years ago, when UNT shut down their mens team, we took their best player. But only one. Fresno says they will honor the players scholarships if they want to stay, so some may not leave. But you would thinkt hat most of the younger ones at least would want to keep on playing.
I dont really think SMU has too much more scholarship money available right now, the best they would probably be able to do would be a partial scholarship.
