SMU men's soccer recruiting class ranked fourth by Soccer America
Ramon Nuñez named publication's top men's recruit in the country

DALLAS (SMU) -- The SMU men's soccer incoming class for this fall was ranked the nation's fourth best by Soccer America in the national soccer magazine's June 9th edition. In addition, SMU incoming freshman Ramon Nuñez (Dallas, Texas) was selected by the publication as the nation's top men's recruit.

The top 10 incoming classes deemed by Soccer America are as follows: 1 - UCLA; 2 - North Carolina; 3 - Saint Louis; 4 - SMU; 5 - Notre Dame; 6 - Penn State; 7 - Indiana; 8 - Clemson; 9 - Stanford; and 10 - Virginia.

In its evaluation of the top 10 recruiting classes, Soccer America states the following about Ramon Nuñez and SMU's fall recruiting class:

"Ramon Nuñez is generously listed at 5-foot-8, but he rises to the top of this fall's incoming freshmen when it comes to potential impact. Nuñez can both set the tone for his team and go to goal himself. In addition, the Mustangs add forward Kenny Cooper from Dallas and defender Mynor Gonzalez, a Guatemalan with over 50 youth national team games under his belt. Forward Dario Saintus and defender Ryan Spencer prove how deep this class is."

Looked like it was No. 5. Anyway, great class some of whom look like they might be able to contribute right away. If we keep this up, we'll be knocking on that National Title door any day now.

We should - this class is like a UT football class, but with a great coach, too.
