Bryson at 5 under and Harry Higgs at even par. Finally a sporting event to get interested in!

Bryson at 10 under is one shot off the lead and Harry at minus 5 is very much in the hint. Should be a good weekend for SMU golf fans

Bryson playing well. He has beefed up and is killing the ball with an average drive or 345 and other golfers are complaining and suggesting that the PGA and the R&A design a special ball for tourneys so that it won't go so far.

I heard his driver is 5.5 degrees?

Bryson looks like a heavyweight boxer. He must have added 50 pounds since last year. They said his average approach shot on par 4s yesterday was 116 yards he was hitting his drives so far.

I read somewhere that he had added about 20 pounds. You think it's even more than that?
The article I saw said his distance off the tee has gotten a lot longer with the added muscle.

They showed side by side swing comparison from last year and this year and he certainly looked more than 20 pounds heavier. Reminds me of Koepka now.

Well at least if he gets in a fight with Koepka he can hold his own now. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if the personal conflict with Koepka factored into his motivation for getting stronger.

Bryson looking good again this week at the Heritage. At minus 11 he's one shot back after 36. Harry looks like he may make another cut as well.

Another top 10 finish for Bryson and another paycheck week for Harry. SMU golfers off to a pretty good start for 2020 season.

During his practice round at the Traveller's, Bryson hit a 370 yard drive over a pond on the 17th hole. Still needs to work on his putting.

Bryson's 5 under opening round suggests he might be in the thick of things again this week. Harry's one over leaves him needing a strong 2nd round in order to play for pay this weekend.

Bryson in position to challenge at 8 under and 5 shots back. Harry wasn't even close to making this cut and could probably use some time off. Tour has to be both a physical and mental grind

Did you hear the Mickelson interview where he talked about Bryson and was in awe of Bryson hitting the ball pin high on his drive at a 407 yard hole? Cut the corner of the dogleg.

Didn't see that but I'm impressed the "old guy" is leading after 36 holes
