He has two top 5 finishes in two appearances so he is one of the favorites to win. Would be awesome to get two SMU winners in back to back weeks. If only Harry had closed it out in Napa!

I know he's played well on this course but not sure if it was playing 7,600 yards when he had those top 5 finishes or how any lengthening of the course might affect him. Looks like they are trying to "Bryson proof" courses these days after "Tiger proofing" didn't hold up!

Oddly enough he hit an ace and an eagle but had 3 bogeys. Today he had 7 birdies but a bogey and a double bogey. If he can just eliminate the big numbers he has a solid shot at winning. Right now he is at -8 after two rounds. We'll have to see how that holds up following the afternoon rounds. He's currently in third place.

At 8 under and 4 shots back, Kelly is definitely in position. As a side note, former Va Tech golfer Brendon de Jonge played this event and missed the cut by 6 shots. His father is a neighbor of ours and Brendon was playing our course recently while trying to get his game in shape for this event. PGA tour is brutally competitive with so many good players and a really tough way to make a living. Kudos to Kelly. Hope he can get that 1st career win this weekend.

Kelly keeps chipping away at the lead. His 2 under front none has him only 2 shots back now

Kelly finishes his 3rd round at 2 under and now minus 10 for the tourney but guys are firing 8 under rounds today and Kelly is now 7 shots off the lead and T-10th

Kelly going the wrong direction at plus 2 thru 11 holes of his final round. He's out of contention now, but still has a chance to earn a decent check to at least make the trip worthwhile

After earning $65k in the Dominican last week, Kelly is teeing it up again at the Sanderson Farms in Jackson, MS...an event he hasn't played since missing the cut in 2016

Kelly fires a one under 71 and joins 19 guys 7 shots off the lead and right on what would be the cut line. Will need a better round tomorrow to stick around this weekend

Kelly's 3 under 2nd round has him T-35th and 9 shots off the lead. Moving day tomorrow

Kelly off to a great start at 3 under thru his 1st 5 holes of today's 3rd round. Helps that 2 of those 1st 5 holes were par 5s and he birdied both

What a horrendous back 9 though. Hope he makes up for it tomorrow!

Played 13-16 five over. Triple on 16 was a killer. Will need a strong final round to earn a decent check this week. Top 10 is out of reach but only 4 shots back of top 25 so who knows?

Kelly finishes at minus 4 and currently T-47th but that's with several golfers still on the course with an opportunity to pass him. At least it's another cut and a paycheck

Finished T-46th, good for $17,980
