Kelly Kraft is going to play in Bermuda this week. Pretty sure the winner gets an invite to the Masters. Not the strongest of fields and "only" a $4 million purse, but a nice opportunity for someone to play at Augusta

With a cut line at plus one, Kelly finishes his 2nd round at plus 8 after shooting 78 on Friday. Not sure if he is physically right yet after last year's late season injury. On to Houston for the tour...

Kelly playing again in Houston this week while Bryson continues his Masters preparation. Harry Higgs ha been scheduled to play Houston but WD. Anyone know if he might be nursing an injury? Kelly's 1st round plus 2 has him near what might be the cut line tomorrow

Wondered how Harry might play coming off a Covid infection. Don't know how it affected him but good to see him back playing.

I follow him on INstagram and he appeared to be fine. It is cool having him and BAD playing well...now we need to pull Kelly K up, and hope that Smotherman continues to move forward.

great that these guys are doing well but what is the problem with recruiting? We weren't in the top groups for new recruits and out of the top 25 recruits none were listed as coming to SMU.
I would have thought with our pros doing reasonably well we would at least get one or two top recruits.

One issue is too much turnover with our coaches. Josh Gregory to Jason Enloe to Chris Parra. Gregory is the one that had the great track record and brought us back. Players know that and so Parra now needs to prove his worth as a coach.

Hopefully we can hit on a few diamonds in the rough during the transition.

From Gregory to Enloe to Parra is a downgrade in quality each time. The current coaching staff may be one of the least experienced in all of D1, especially for teams highly ranked. One of the All Americans will graduate in May and the other will graduate in December. Then the downward spiral will accelerate. You can thank the inept AD for making the Enloe and Parra hires. Gregory was hired by a different AD and responsible for the turnaround.

Just another classic example of how inept and incompetent our AD is. If he weren't RGT's little lap dog he would have been gone a long time ago.

Didn't Gregory leave because he got us in trouble with the NCAA? Somebody had to pay the price for Alabama's recruiting violations.
