Petronzio, Valenzuela Sign With Mustangs

DALLAS (SMU) – Head coach Chris Parra has announced the addition of Nathan Petronzio and Alex Valenzuela to the men's golf program for the 2020-21 season.

The duo joins a program that produced a pair of second-team All-Americans in 2019-20 in Noah Goodwin and Mac Meissner, three all-region selections with the addition of Justin Thompson and was ranked as high as No. 2.

Of six total tournaments played over the shortened season, SMU posted victories at the Maridoe Intercollegiate and Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, and finished runner-up at the Trinity Forest Invitational.

"Coach Wilkins and myself are very excited to have Nathan and Alex join our SMU family," Parra said. "They will be a big part of SMU golf for many years. We can't wait to have them on campus and playing for the team. #PonyUp"
