Bryson missed several key putts and that cost him a trophy and lots more money. Was really hoping he could make it two in a row

His loss came on #4. Played it like me. Top the drive, shank the 3rd ( after penalty), chili dip the fourth and 2 putt. He recovered well but just could not quite get there.

With the exception of # 16, Bryson just did not play the par 5s well on Sunday and that was a killer.

Kelly Kraft and Harry Higgs both playing the Honda in FL this week. Kelly's 1st round one over has him near what will probably be the cut line. Harry finishes at minus 2 and 7 shots off the lead

At this point in the 2021 season, Bryson currently sits at # 2 on the PGA Tour's money list having earned $5,362,000 in 8 events and he's only $10,000 behind # 1 Justin Thomas who has played in 2 more events than Bryson.

Harry Higgs has played 13 events and earned $974,438 to rank # 60 and he will earn another check, if not compete for the title this week at the Honda.

Kelly Kraft sits at # 181 having earned $116,763 in 11 events, including his missing the cut this week

Plenty of par or worse rounds yesterday at the Honda and Harry was among them with his 4 over 74 that featured 6 bogeys and 2 birdies, dropping him to minus one for the tourney and T-34th, nine shots off the lead

Kelly Kraft made the trip to the Dominican to play the Corales but missed the cut by 5 shots

Meanwhile, after winning # 14 and 15 Bryson closed to one down before losing his match one down to Tommy Fleetwood at the WGC. Fleetwood advances to the round of 16. Bryson never lead, was 4 down after 7 holes and just couldn't recover

Harry Higgs & Kelly Kraft are playing the Zurich of New Orleans this week in a unique 2 man "team" format. Harry at minus 5 and Kelly at minus 2 are well off the 10 under pace after round one.

Tough conditions today made for some high scores. Bryson just makes the cut at plus 2 after 36 holes but is only 8 shots off the lead. Harry just misses the cut at plus 3 and Kelly's 8 over 79 today dropped him to plus 10.
