Watson also finished second in both the 200 free (1:53.04) and the 200 IM (2:05.27).

The Mustangs picked up their final win of the evening in the closing 200-yard freestyle relay. Gudmundsdottir, Stevens, Indra Vandenbussche and Sam Smith combined for the win in 1:34.99.

The opening 200-yard medley relay (1:44.09) of Gabi Grobler, Maddy Lewis, Gudmundsdottir and Stevens finished second.

In other freestyle action, Annabelle Corcoran (1,000 free) and Katie Jordan (500 free) each finished third.

Nicole Stambo was SMU's top finisher on the boards, placing fourth on both 1 and 3 meter. Both Stambo and Taylor Ohlhauser finished above the NCAA Zone qualifying standard on both boards.

Congratulations to the Women and their performance against a top team as the Aggies. I like the times in their winning events, including a relay. Well done, ladies.

I suspect we aren’t deep all in the events, but this result shows promise. Coach Collins should feel good about this result.
