Ohlhauser Advances To 1 Meter Finals At NCAA Zone Championships
LEXINGTON, Ky. (SMU) – Senior Taylor Ohlhauser led the Mustangs on 1 meter on day one of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.
In her best outing in three appearances at the Championships, Ohlhauser advanced to finals and posted a combined score of 518.55, good for 16th place. It was her first trip to a Zones final, and an improvement on her best 1 meter finish at the event by 15 places.
Ohlhauser placed third on the event at the American Athletic Conference Championships, earning her third career all-conference honor.
Conference champion Nicole Stambo (253.65) joined Ohlhauser in the event, climbing three spots from her finish in 2020 to place 22nd in prelims.
Women's 3 meter is on the schedule for Friday with both Mustangs, as well as Johanna Holloway, competing. Events will begin at 10 a.m. CT, and will stream live here.
