Three Mustangs Tabbed All-American Athletic Conference
IRVING, Texas - Three Mustangs were named All-American Athletic Conference in 2021. SMU finished with a 18-12 record and a 14-6 mark in AAC play to finish in a tie for third after taking 11 of the last 14 matches in league play. SMU played seven matches against teams named to the NCAA tournament and against four teams that received votes or were selected in the final AVCA Top-25 poll.

Rachel Woulfe was a unanimous first-team ballot honoree after leading the Mustangs with a 3.06 kills per set clip and finished second on the team with 333 kills. Woulfe hit .298 on the season and gathered 88 total blocks (3rd-best mark) including five solo blocks. In conference only matches, Woulfe ranked eighth in kills per set (3.18) and eighth in points per set (3.83). Woulfe's .311 hitting percentage was good enough for 12th in the AAC. Woulfe was named the Offensive Player of the Week (Week 8) and was selected to the conference weekly honor roll three other times. Woulfe was also selected first-team all-conference in 2019. Woulfe was one of only four athletes who were named unanimous selections.

Alex Glover secured her first all-conference accolade after finishing sixth in the American with a .366 hitting percentage and seventh against conference opponents with a 0.95 blocks per set ratio. Glover was a two-time AAC weekly honor roll member and was named the Defensive Player of the Week on October 4. Glover hit .379 with 208 kills on the season. Glover also notched the second-best blocks per set mark (0.94) for the Mustangs.

Hannah Jacobs was selected All-Conference for the second time in her career. Jacobs paced SMU with 334 kills along with a .204 hitting percentage. Jacobs had the 10th best mark among conference player with a 3.08 hitting percentage in league play. Jacobs became the newest member of the 1,000 kills club in the Mustangs' win over ECU on October 31. Jacobs was selected to the conference honor roll once and was named to the SMU DoubleTree Invitational All-Tournament team.
