Men's swim/dive lands 10 on CSCAA Scholar All-America team

Ten Mustangs Named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans

Story LinksCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CSCAA/SMU) – Ten members of the SMU men's swimming and diving team have earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors for their combined academic and athletic efforts throughout the season.

To be selected as a member of the CSCAA Scholar All-America first team as an individual, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Honorable mention selections have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at their respective qualifying meets.

Lance Butler (2nd Team) - Applied Physiology & Sports Management
Tyler Coffey (2nd Team) - Management Science
Angus Corbeau (2nd Team) - Undeclared
Connor Dalbo (2nd Team) - Finance
Jack Easton (2nd Team) - Computer Engineering
Russell Exum (2nd Team) - Undeclared
Cotton Fields - Undeclared
Dominic Hoefer (2nd Team) - Management Science
Brayden Rudd (2nd Team) - Finance
Joe Rusnock (2nd Team) - Undeclared

The SMU men's swimming and diving team also received Scholar All-America Team honors this week, having posted a 3.37 cumulative team GPA for the spring semester.
