A little surprised to see Harry not playing in Phoenix this year. I thought this event was his show after last year's performance. Kelly's 1st round minus one has him in good position to play the weekend but Austin's plus 4 leaves him needing to go low today to make the cut.

Kelly holds to minus one and makes the cut, currently T-37th while Austin is going home early again

Kelly had another minus one round and now sits at minus 2 for the week and T-37th, 10 shots off the lead with the leaders still on the course

His 77 tied for the worst round of any player yesterday but at least he pocketed $43,800 for the week. Have to make cuts to make a living on tour

I guess so...making cuts may or may not help you keep your card. Making cuts, finishing in the Top 10 - 20 is the route to success out there.

Making cuts helps build confidence. Of course he needs 3-4 weeks of top finishes to make his money and earn his card.

Kelly at plus one and Harry plus two after round one. Not a great start but the lead is only minus 5 and only 48 guys under par

One of the toughest tracks on Tour, so "going low" and making the cut will be a challenge...hope both do it! #Bryson-PleaseComeBack

OK Kelly Kraft!! Well done...nice little 66 today brother - PonyUP!! Now....play the weekend like it means something - #NO T-54
Harry Higgs....starting to feel like he needs to shed the "good time Charlie" role and start focusing on his game, not his popularity.

Harry had taken a couple of weeks off before returning for this event. Not sure whether he might be trying to play through an injury but he clearly struggled in today's 2nd round. I haven't seen anything but figured when he missed the Phoenix event that he wasn't physically able to play because that is his kind if event!

Kelly's even par 3rd round has him T-31st and 4 shots out of a Top 10 finish. Can he close?
