Austin sneaks in right at the cut line so will play the weekend and be pretty much guaranteed a $50k paycheck. Job well done, especially if he can pick up a few shots and get into the Top 40 who will all earn something in the $100k range. He's only 2 shots back of those players

Austin with an up and down final round that sees him roll 6 birdies offset by 4 bogeys including a killer on # 18 but he gets to minus 4 and is currently T-38th with plenty of guys a shot or two ahead of him that could struggle as the winds pick up this afternoon. Good week for Austin making this cut and looks like he's in position to collect a 6 figure check

One of the best if not the best weekend for Smotherman in his young career, as The Players is the 5th major, with a stellar field on a tough track - tons of pressure. That $115,000 helps the cause and should give him some much needed confidence going forward.

Kelly, Austin & Harry all teeing it up at the Valspar in Palm Harbor tomorrow. Continuing the grind. Some of the top guys not playing after the Players so maybe an opportunity week?

Harry's 1st round one under, Kelly's even par and Austin's one over have all of our guys in decent shape of playing the weekend but right on what could be the cut line at even or plus one, depending on how everyone plays tomorrow. Only 57 0f 144 guys shot even par or better today

Harry blew up to an 81 today and is out. Kelly is 2 shots off the cut line with only 3 to play and Austin is at even par (projected cut at one over) with 9 holes still to play

Austin's 2 under 2nd round gets him to minus one for the week, T-26th and only 6 shots off the lead

Austin is back to even par after a one over round that featured 3 birdies offset by 4 bogeys. Innisbrook is playing tough with a 6 under 65 being the best round of the week. Austin is currently T-38th and 8 shots off the lead currently held by Jordan Spieth

Austin got to minus one before bogeys at 15 & 17 dropped him to plus one and a T-36th finish, good for $35,280. Hanging onto that minus one would have netted him a Top 25 finish and $89k. Looks like he's playing the best of all of our guys right now so we'll see if he keeps grinding or if he's ready to take some time off

Kelly Kraft and Harry Higgs both teed up in Punta Cana today. Kraft is in 4th place and Harry Higgs is still on the course currently in 17th place. Hopefully they can both earn big checks this week to boost their season earnings.

Harry in at minus 4 and Kelly at minus 3 after 2nd round and both currently within the Top 30 in the clubhouse. Plenty of guys still on the course and birdies are flying today but looks like both of our guys should at least be playing for a check this weekend

Kelly played his final 7 holes 4 under (compared to yesterday's 2 over) to finish at minus 7 and is currently T-15th. Harry is 2 under thru 15 holes today, 6 under for the week and is currently T-24th. Former Okie State golfer Austin Eckroat turned his front nine in 28 today to take a 2 shot lead at 14 under. Guys are tearing this course up.

Harry joins Kelly at minus 7 for the week and they are currently T-19th. This tournament has one of the lower purses but a Top 10 finish would earn 6 figures, a Top 20 would earn $50k or better but dropping down to 30th would pay half of that. These guys will be under pressure to go low tomorrow...probably better than the 4 under 68 Kelly shot today to get into significant money. Harry has one Top 10 and a couple of Top 25 finishes so far this season but this week could be Kelly's best finish so far this season.

Kelly with a respectable 4 under closing round moves to 11 under, T-16th and earns $56,050 while Harry fades into a T-38th after a 2 over closing round and earns $15,390

Harry with another respectable showing at the Valero finishing 28th and earning $55,922. He was in position for a Top 10 finish after 54 holes and was T-8th but had a 2 over final round and dropped just one stroke shy of another Top 25 finish
