Jelldrik Dallman Named To Hermann Trophy Watch List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (SMU) - Jelldrik Dallman was named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List on Thursday. The Graduate forward is one of just 37 players recognized by United Soccer Coaches as a contender for the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year.

Dallman transferred to SMU from Lipscomb, where he was named the ASUN player of the year and first-team all-region by the United Soccer Coaches after posting 11 goals in 2022. Dallman was also named to Top Drawer Soccer's Preseason All-American Second Team.

Fifteen players will become Hermann Trophy semifinalists following completion of Division I All-America voting at the end of the fall season. On December 13th, the men's three finalists will be released. The 2023 winner being revealed on Jan. 5, 2024, at a ceremony at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis, Missouri.

The No. 19 Mustangs open the regular season play by hosting UTRGV at Washburne Stadium on Thursday at 8 p.m.
