Dallmann Named AAC Offensive Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas (SMU/AAC) - Jelldrik Dallmann was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Dallmann had a hat trick in No. 11 SMU's 5-0 victory over UCA last Monday. His first goal of the night was off of a header at the 17-minute mark, his second was a deflection assisted by freshman forward Jaylinn Mitchell and he later secured the hat trick with a penalty kick.

Dallmann is on the watch list for the Hermann Trophy, the nation's highest individual honor in NCAA soccer.

He currently sits tied for first in the AAC and tied for third in the NCAA in goals scored.

The graduate forward transferred to SMU from Lipscomb, where he was named the ASUN player of the year and first-team all-region by the United Soccer Coaches after posting 11 goals in 2022. Dallmann was also named to Top Drawer Soccer's Preseason All-American Second Team.

The No. 11 Mustangs start a four game homestand tonight at 7 p.m. versus No. 25 Oral Roberts. SMU also hosts No. 15 Saint Louis on Friday at 7 p.m.a
