No. 40 SMU Falls 4-1 Against No. 62 TCU

DALLAS — No. 40 SMU women's tennis dropped its match against No. 62 TCU, 4-1, at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Thursday. The Mustangs earned one point from graduate student Lana Mavor in singles play.

TCU opened the match by capturing the doubles point, with SMU's Hadley Doyle and Drew Morris leaving their match unfinished while up 5-3.

Mavor swept her singles match and earned the Mustangs their lone point of the match. The Maine native earned her 13th win of the year, defeating Yu-Chin Tsai (6-2, 6-0).

Up Next

The Mustangs take on Baylor on Tuesday, April 9 in their final regular-season road match of the season before returning to the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex to host Memphis on April 15 for Senior Night.

SMU will then transition to postseason play by hosting the American Athletic Conference Championships from April 17 to April 21.
