One play after the umpire was struck, a personal foul was called on Moreno for hitting the Marble Falls quarterback, who had taken a knee to run out the clock. Moreno was assessed a 15-yard penalty but was not ejected"

Wow!

This has happened before at a different school. They made the player write an apology to the official and punished him internally.

Any word on what the school attended by the offending players has done?

They are currently suspended from the team and the school.
