PonyTales, you have got to cut this out man...you're making Whatasteve nervous.

Guys, try the Irish bacon cheeseburger at the Tipperary Inn. I think you'll all be pleased with it.
I look forward to your expert analysis.

Thanks for the suggestion MF....sounds like something PX could really sink his teeth into and come up smiling.

Sure, I'm up for it. Besides, I bet there's a high probability that I might find some dark beer around there somewhere.

FYI, Uptown B&G makes a mighty fine burger (and some tasty cheese fries too), so you should check it out prior to burger bashing.

And yes (he said meekly), I still do like the Snuffer's burger in all it's raw, salty glory. Maybe I'm just too nostalgic, or perhaps, like Pavlov's dog, I've been conditioned to loving the Snuffer's burger -- "Hey Bonzo (my Boaz roommate), I got my monthly stipend from Dad, let's cash it and head to Snuffer's for a dozen pitchers and a burger or two.."

Yes, those were the glory days!

Hey Peruna Punch, glad to see you back....your boss must have finally let you come up for air. I was getting a little concerned about you...all work and no play is not good.

I wasnt bashing Uptown, I've never eaten there. I just said that some of the results of that survey were highly suspect. Would you take Snuffers over First and Ten? Honestly?

Did you guys go to Adairs without me? How was it?

Where is this Temporary Inn place? Someone email me if thats where we're headed next week.

Tipperary Inn.

No worries, Professor. I made the same mistake.

5815 Live Oak

I don't do food comparisons for the most part...however, I had a burger at Houstons that was quite tasty.

No, we didn't do any Burger Wars this week. Took a week off.
We'll figure out next week's location soon.

San Francisco Rose (lower Greenville) has a really good burger.

Is Judge Bean's on the list?
I wish I was in Dallas to take part in this. Thanks for reminding me about the great burgers in town .... and for making me hungry for a good burger.

We have discussed Judge Beans a couple of times, but there hasnt been any real interest in visiting. The restaraunt on Greenville was torn down some time ago, there's an Eckerds there now.
I was dissapointed to see the old place go, because my name used to be on the wall, along with all the other people who ate the five pound burger. Former teammate John Eixman held the record, he ate the big burger in just 16 minutes. It took me 57 minutes and 32 seconds, and afterwards I couldnt move.

16 minutes? That's scary.
And just a little disgusting.
