Been to the Goat. Average cheese fries, but the burger was fantastic.

Seroiusly? Did you get the surprise fries with the homemade chili on them? We loved 'em. And fantastic local draft beer selection. This is my new favorite burger joint

Hopdoddy tonight. It was good. Llano Poblano, parmesan truffle fries, and a Deep Ellum IPA.

Dutch's wins the 2015 Star-Telegram battle of the burgers. The best I've ever had, without a doubt. Good job, Kay.

A friend introduced me last week to Stackhouse on Gaston. I'd never heard of it before.

After the initial annoyance at a bunch of dentists and insurance salesmen posing as bikers and taking up the entire parking lot, we finally ate, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The burger was exceptional. The bun left a little to be desired — it was slippery, like it had been dipped in melted butter or something — and the onion rings were average at best, but the burger itself was terrific. Lots of flavor in the beef, with almost a hint of smoke in the taste, and less greasy than the bun around it. Definitely worth trying.

Whataburger in Phoenix? I hope they know how lucky they are to have that Texas Treasure.
