Guys--there is no doubt in my mind that you have a very elegant campus; arguably, it could very well be one the nicest in the state; your campus is located in the heart of a very unique neighborhood. However, that being said, distinguishing TCU's campus as anything less than exceptional is outlandish.

Oh and by the way - our endowment is larger then TCU's, although they are both about a billion.

However we are embarking on a new capital campaign to benefit the endowment as the facility campaign was so successful - we will be adding over 400 million to the endowment in the next four years.

Thanks for caring.

I am sorry, gostangs, but your endowment is significantly smaller, about 74 million smaller. TCU's is 1.12 billion.

Wrong Tadpole Breath -

According to the National Associaton of College and University Business officers, (NACUB) as of the end of 2004 (latest data available) SMU is ranked ahead of TCU in endowment size by about 45 million. They are each just under a billion, so you are very incorrect on your "estimate" of a TCU endowment which exceeds 1.1 billion.

feel free to look it up - www.nacubo.org/pressroom

Oh yeah, we are also smarter, our girls are better looking, our school color is not purple, our university is in a real city, we kicked your butt in football and we eat fried eggs out of "the skillet" every morning.

Very nice use of big words, although you might want to use "describing or depicting" instead of "distinguishing" next time. You get a star on your green forehead and can play with the felt blackboard at lunch.

Oh, so now we're correcting eachothers choice of [correct] vocabulary? Is this what you do for fun?

Oh, by the way: 2004 was last year, my Pony friend. Check this years data: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?[deleted] ... ction=edit

So, you are going to rely on a wikipedia article that has no references to back it up......yeah....that gives you crediblity.....

At the least, it's to-date info, unlike the last year stuff.

There is no authority behind it, those could be 1900's numbers because there is nothing to back it up, and it helps your case about as much as dog [deleted] in a box.

The following exercise will show you why you don't rely on wikipedia as authoritative information, unless it provides references.

Anybody can edit wikipedia. Indeed anybody can write an article. Click the link again, you dropped a spot. I tried to change the TCU endowment to $5, but my HTML skills are faulty.

Simply put I don't trust a source for university endowments, when it gives a definition for "donkey punching".

There is no 2005 info because the year is not over yet - dorkus.

NACUB will update in a couple of months - until then SMU has a larger endowment then froggieland. Just like SMU is the better football team at least until 2007 when we play again.

If they are updated each month why don't you provide a verified source? You know something that is reputable that can back up your statements. Oh, I know, you went to TCU, you don't know how to argue with logic.

Sorry you tire so easily - but you are the one hanging around an SMU board spewing inaccuracies about your endowment - TCU guys are always having to lie about thier endowments I guess.

What third party, updated monthly report are you referring to?

You are incorrect, and if you are worn out feel free to leave.
