Our people are grumbling a little as well. We think that Marshall can put up between 9k and 11k for the game, maybe more.

Our tickets go on sale tomorrow. Big lines. Big pain.

But we'll live. And as for the hubbub with the DMN, well, they have a point, but they can pound sand. We are more concerned that the weather will delay sales. Supposed to get nasty tomorrow.

Be safe everybody.

And I think Independence Bowl would have been perfect. Didn't know Texas could go to Louisiana for championship game.

apparently the coaches can decide whatever they damn well please and the UIL has nothing to say about it.

Tickets to the game have now been posted for auction on ebay. Most are from Marshall residents but a few are from HP folks.

Bids are exceeding $200, at this time.

Talk about steppin' in it. HP can feel a little vindicated (not that it will do as much good as the TV will) about the ticket complaints. Man, what a royal cluster----. I guess Marshall forgot to reserve some for the parents of all of the players. They did the 10 ticket per person thing too. Sold out in 80 minutes or something. Ridiculous.

Hey a side note, who was the coach for HP that left for awhile and returned to coach again in late 80s or early 90s. Frank something? Does anybody know who that was?

Frank Bevers. Frank Beavers sounds like a porn actor. Or the subtitle to the "Vagina Monologues."
