Worst part about Vegas and what is has to do w/ SMU

Postby RGV Pony » Tue Mar 14, 2006 1:05 am

Yes, going to Vegas is my second favorite getaway behind going to an SMU 'W' during the fb season.

However, my latest trip this past weekend made me finally have to post about that which drives me crazy every time I go to Sin City.

After one's flight has landed, you take a train from the terminal to the main terminal. In the foyer of the area at the bottom of the escalator and before the train, the airport designers decided to put some distinctively Las Vegas (desert?) artwork here and there.

On one side is a 25-foot stone snake, appearing to emerge from the sand.

And on the other side? A friggin' 12 foot stone (not stoned...at least I don't think so) HORNED FROG!

What's a PonyFan to do?

Man, spring time is slow on the board.

If you didn't add a urine stain to the Horned Frog, you might need to go back and rectify that.
