Postby MrMustang1965 » Mon Apr 10, 2006 10:22 pm

SMU's cheer & dance team (cheerleaders?) placed 5th in the National Cheerleading Association Collegiate Championships last weekend in Daytona, Florida. Placing ahead of SMU were:

1st place - Louisville
2nd place - Middle Tennessee State
3rd place - UNC-Charlotte
4th place - Univ. of Illinois - Chicago

Speaking of cheerleaders, when is college week for the cheerleader camp at SMU? That's honestly the reason a lot of folks stayed in town for summer school.

They might have won the championship by getting in a little more practice DURING games.
