I didn't know that biker gangs were actually violent. I thought that they were like a musical, like the West Side Story. They would show up with chains and knives and then a tap dance and song would break out.

This isn't shocking. I was driving back from San Antonio yesterday and we were stuck in Temple for 4 hours because of a jack knifed 18-wheeler. Tempers were pretty high yesterday and there were at least four MCs stuck in it with us. Plus they had to sit in the rain at certain points. By the time I made it to Waco, the shooting had already happened and there were cops everywhere. I left SA at 9:00 and didn't make it back o Frisco until 4:30. I was ready to shoot someone by the time I pulled up to the house.

when I was married, at the end of road trips, this was the usual for me...

Come to think of it, usually felt that way Before we were out of the neighborhood. :D

But back to Baylor, glad to see that the chain restaurants they so touted for recruiting are paying huge dividends. 8)

Really crappy of me, but all I could think of was how this will help us SMU out recruit BU.

I'm not sure your average 17 year old cares about a biker gang at twin peaks. You guys connect way too much esoteric bull to recruiting. At the end of the day it's all about the program and facilities and coaches. The town doesn't matter. Girls don't matter, These kids get [deleted] everywhere. Academics matter for a few, but not most. Weather might matter for the southerners.
Twin peaks vs Bob's? Doesn't matter.

Agree with whitwiki on this one. They care about if their prospective team can get on a big stage, and they care if they think they can play a roll on the team so they get noticed. That's about it. Farther the team is up the pecking order the better - its pretty rare to win a recruiting war vs teams above you in the order. That's why we need to win vs Houston, UCF et al and then make the jump at some point.

restaurants? not even on the list. academics? unfortunately the ones that care about academics are probably not the ones you want.

I don't know, chicken fertilizer plant explodes in Waco, biker wars, and parents don't want little Johnny getting hurt.
