SMU just posted a new commercial.

Better than the awful one they had been playing last year during the football broadcasts, that was only cartoons and didn't show off probably our greatest recruiting asset (Our Incredible Campus).

Similar to what we had released in basketball season last year but featuring football rather than hoops

There is no such thing as lesser person? Did Lori White put this together before she left?

did you not participate in the thorough bashing of that line that we had in basketball season?

For the record, I don't think this commercial is that good. But it is MILES Better than the cartoon commercial

So much missed opportunity, but at least it is not a total embarrassment.

The FB one really should just be guys and gals having fun on the blvd, walking around campus, and cheering in the stands for td's.

I was going to say we must have found the God particle rendering that previous commercial obsolete. Must be resting comfortably in a trophy case somewhere on campus.

Smoking hot chicks in sundresses on the Boulevard, and shots of the campus with Range Rovers and BMWs strategically placed. Applications would skyrocket...guys see they can get hot girls and girls see they can marry rich and be set for life.

Don't be such a misogynist. Your sexist attitude brings the entire university down, and is representative of your inability to recognize and check your white male privilege. And we all know that these kids will decide where to go to school based on how quickly and easily they can get a 2$ tee shirt that says "there is no such thing as a lesser person."

not bad,

Could shorten it up and actually make a commercial out of it. although were was this "global health" program when I was in undergrad. Could bet 96% of undergrads don't know about the human rights, global health that they are pushing in these commercials.

I seriously doubt kids are applying to school based on these programs or the number is far smaller. I feel most want a school that will give them jobs, networks and is good at academic rankings/ sports.
