Former Chase Bank building on Hillcrest sold

No one in Dallas likes the way things are but no one in Dallas wants things to change. That's we we have what we have.

Add in some Italian and you've got "Axis Adult Entertainment."

Back in the '80's, that porno theatre in Synder was owned by an SMU-alum and part-time professor.

Yeah the theater which was where the Mexican place is now. Full on adult XXX theater. I remember it from the early 80s. Dallas used to be a cool place.

Did a Statistics assignment for a math course at SMU. My group did a study on pornography. There was a movie out at the time titled something like "The Congressional Report on Pornography". It was based on a real report put out by Congress that defined pornography. The movie (in a theater on Snyder so I assume it is the same place) was made up of several short skits showing what was not allowed to be shown according to the report. Fun report.

Mind blowing. Try to open up a place like that in the park cities today!

actually it was a failed movie theater so their fall-back position was porn.

This theater closing correlates with the downfall of our football program. Bring back the theater and football will rise again!
