I was talking to my dad this weekend who went to SMU in the 60s (and ate a bazillion Goffs burgers) and we were saying the same thing. It's amazing they stayed in business and relevant as long as they did.

Especially these days when most SMU kids can hop in their Range Rover and head just about anywhere for some sort of $15 gourmet burger.

Well, more recently Goffs had a close location and took Pony Card. Locals may just have fond memories. Hopdoddy is the high school hot spot.

#10 (chili, cheese, onions and hickory smoke sauce) with a side of crispy fries is/was one of my favorite burgers. Small and overpriced but still great.
