If it hadn't been raining, I probably would have taken my daughter to the game.
Although I understand (and agree) with the idea that one wouldn't publish a program like that now, it amazing to me that our best colleges don't understand that history is not always perfect.

Posted: Tue Oct 11, 2016 9:25 amThe time is coming that things we are doing today, that are considered the norm, will be seen as offensive. Happens with every generation. Why apologize for the past? Make changes and move forward, that would show that it is no longer tolerated.

Those things are somewhere in one of our huge storage buildings. My cousin did not go to Dartmouth. Stanford was the same way. We have some things in storage that say Stanford Indians.
It was always racists to us (even to the persons I knew who were born before 1900 that were old people when I was a kid) because we see ourselves as humans and not animals (mascots).
And I'm not very PC but this is different than being PC to me.
