very impressive haul by the Coogs, wonder why?

On a per student basis, SMU and Rice are the winners.

Houston has 300K alumni in one of the largest cities in the nation. They should be able to consistently raise that kind of cash.

Coogs just announced a $1 billion capital campaign. Last year's haul was part of the quiet phase. Yes, an IPF was part of the funds. Not sure if it's commitments or actual donations that were counted in those figures. We're both just $4MM from Rice, and Trinity was quite low. Baylor was a surprise. Maybe they're in a campaign too.
