LBJ is the second greatest bball player ever. What he has done is unparalleled. If he wins another title or two, look out MJ.

MJ never lost a finals, LBJ has lost 3 (and should have lost a 4th). MJ is safe as GOAT, those plugging LBJ are just creatures of the moment.

Yup. Also, LeBron has had a cakewalk to all of these finals in the East

It's not close bc of the finals records and MJs tenacity on D. LBJ will chase you down and demoralize you off the glass, but he's not plugged in on D the way Jordan was, possession to possession.

Jordan also didn't sit out to rest during the season and he also wasn't a flop artist.

I'm in no way saying LBJ is close to MJ at this point. I grew up watching MJ and still to this day he is my favorite athlete ever to watch play. MJ wanted to rip your heart out every game whether it was the 10th game of the regular season or a game in the finals. That is the biggest thing that separates MJ and LBJ. I just think if LBJ wins a couple of more championships the discussion will a lot more serious.

A couple more things, if he gets to finals, which he will, it will be the seventh straight year. Since MJ's gambling forced him to step away for two years, he never accomplished that. And someone mentioned the LBJ's path to the finals has been an easy one. While true, let's not forget the path through the East for MJ's Bulls wasn't that difficult either, especially in those last three championship runs.

Did anyone see the Wizards/Celtics game yesterday? Or Friday for that matter. 22-0 run on Friday and 26-0 run on Sunday. That's inflicting some pain. If the Wizards manage to win one at the Garden, their battle with Cleveland could be very interesting. James is not only a great player, but physically imposing. The guy is huge. But the Wizards will make Cleveland have to chase them outside with Beal and Wall. Hope they get by the Celtics. Of course whoever wins in the East probably gets the Warriors. No picnic there.

The over-under here in DC is which is more likely: A Wizards playoff victory over the Cavs or a Caps victory over the Pens?

Will the Dubs or Cleveland lose first? I can't remember the last time two teams entered the conference finals without a loss in the playoffs.

EastStang, congrats on the Caps win. Time for a game seven which are so great in the Stanley Cup playoffs. BTW, I think the Caps over the Pens is more likely. The NBA will be the Dubs and Cleveland in what should be a wildly entertaining finals.

The entire playoffs are just treading water until another Finals rematch.

Will both teams enter the finals without a playoff loss? If no Kawhi, I think so. I feel terrible for Spurs fans.

You really hate those Spurs. BTW, I rewatched game 6 of the 2011 Finals a couple of nights ago. That was game was such sweetness.

Spurs and TCU are at the top of my sports hate totem poll. The entire 2011 playoff run was glorious.
