Well, this is for public school.
Aggies profit number one $57 million
Oklahoma second at 23 million
Texas seventh at 16 million

I suspect these profit numbers are one reason Texas won't play A&M. TX is so bitter that A&M had the audacity to leave big brother TX and flourish, that TX is bitter at A&M's success.

They haven't won jack. No Titles in 19 years. Clearly treading water around .500 in SEC

And the SEC divides their FB revenue equally between all members. I do not think the Big 12-2 does that do they?

The $40m they are still counting due to accounting rather than actually receiving the money this year?

I think they do, but their individual third tier rights go to the underlying schools. So UT and OU make more than the other schools, even though their base Big-12 distribution is the same.

Texas A&M wasn't a good program in the Big 12, and outside of one year in the SEC, has been mediocre there too. Their alumni have an inflated view of their program. Read an article yesterday about them leaving the Big 12, Loftin basically came out and said it was because they had an inferiority complex with UT.

So they can be making a lot of money and suck at the same time.

I'd rather be A&M than UT right now.
