I'm not sure how no one has mentioned this yet, but it seems like SMU has made it back into the national spotlight.

Still a bad look. 95% will just read the headlines w/o the reasoning behind the survey activity.

Exactly.

This is what is wrong with everything these days. If the media payed attention to the origin of the survey it wouldn't even merit being news.

Was on a conference call and checked Maria's Twitter - she is writing everyone writing negative comments telling them the true story and to come visit the campus and learn the truth

Dr. Dixon Hall is a great leader at the school glad she is getting on top of it. This cultural intelligence curriculum she is creating will hopefully be excellent. The people that helped pilot the program spoke pretty highly of it - still a few kinks to work out, but it was a third of a semester pilot so likely why. Too bad the look it created, but the fake news era we live in.
