A continuous topic for Ponyfans... current and future construction on the Hilltop.
1. How is the Indoor Performance Center construction progressing? Please post photos.
2. Did Hillcrest Parking Center construction start?
3. When will Ford Research & Innovation Center construction begin?
4. When will Owen Art Center renovations begin?
Thanks!

With all this new construction, will the campus be able to breathe?

Don't hold your breath waiting for an answer. Turner's silence on this issue has been suffocating.

Help me understand your comment. The IPF is going in the location of the old natatorium and outdoor olympic pool, the parking garage is going in the location of a dorm, and the Ford building will be built where there was a surface parking lot. With these replacements what is your concern? Is a surface parking lot, with no green space, better than a building which will have some green space around it?

Someone on here made a comment when it was announced that the campus would be crowded and wouldn’t be able to breathe anymore hence my snark

It really would be nice if they would include more parking ramps in their plans.

Parking has been an issue forever so I am sure it won't change.

But honestly all I really care about is getting the IPF so we can be dominant in football!!!

Parking pressure is already going down due to uber/lyft. Automated cars will further reduce the need. I wouldn't build another garage - waste of money.

Really? Clearly you have never tried to find a parking space on campus after 8:01 AM on any given weekday during the Fall or Spring...

I am curious how an automated car cuts down the parking need. Do you just let them run free while you are doing whatever you have to do?
