Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas and Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business ranked 40th and 48th, respectively, in U.S. News’ 2019 Best Business School rankings.

They beat out other Texas programs such as Baylor and University of Houston. The only other Texas schools ranked higher than UTD and SMU were The University of Texas-Austin, Rice University and Texas A&M University.

U.S. News surveyed 480 accredited MBA programs in fall 2017 and winter 2018 and received 387 responses, however only 127 provided enough data to rank. U.S. News considered peer assessments, corporate recruiters’ assessments, placement success and the school’s selectivity.

UTD reported an average GMAT score of 634 for the fall 2017 entering class with a total fall enrollment of 100 students. In-state tuition and fees totaled $16,499 for the 2017-2018 school year.

Students beginning SMU’s MBA program in fall 2017 had an average GMAT score of 660. The program had 222 students enrolled full-time, with tuition and fees totaling $52,880 for 2017-2018.
