Chad's getting lucky next week. Alabama won't have Tua. There will still be a beatdown, but it would have been much worse.

What do you mean "if" it doesn't work out?

"He reminds me of a used car manager trying to make the sale and not let the customer walk away. i’ve said this for over 2 years, chad is a good high school coach and that’s his limit. that’s his limit. it is what it is but what quality head coach would want to come to a bottom ranked SEC team that’s been struggling for many years. we’ve reached the bottom of the barrel folks."

Used car salesman at SMU, used car manager at Arkansas. :P

Arkansas lost a 4* LB over the weekend. Rumors were going around that he tried to steal something on his visit and we pulled his offer so he’s heading to Tennessee with some of his teammates. This was posted on a Tennessee board. Pretty crappy thing to do if true.

If the accusations aren’t true then tell him to call us. We’ll be better than Tennessee for the foreseeable future.

I'm guessing someone figured out you're not allowed to give souvenirs to recruits so instead of admitting their mistake they thought it best to accuse the recruits of stealing.

'they gave us hats and sweatshirts, after decommitting we were asked to give them back'           too funny, you can't make this stuff up

Arky also lost a 4-star commit one hour after their lost to Kentucky.

Their 2020 class is currently ranked #44 in the nation and #13 in the SEC.

If this holds, it would be Arkansas' 2nd worst recruiting class in the past 20 years.

Nineteen games into his tenure as Arkansas head coach, Chad Morris has yet to beat a Power Five team or win a road game. Two of his four wins have come against FCS teams, while the other two have come against low-level Group of Five teams.

Eastern Illinois , Colorado state, Portland and Tulsa.

The whole thing with the recruit is kind of weird. In the follow up from the visit the young man spoke glowingly about his trip. He talked about the great time had and how he enjoyed the visit to the Morris house after the game. Then shortly thereafter he decommits.

Regardless of the back story, the deal going in was to not only entertain the committed recruit, but also get his two teammates to commit. They have promoted themselves as a package deal and Arkansas had high hopes of getting all 3. So bottom line in this event is not just the decommit but the loss of 3 good recruits.

Learned another interesting factoid yesterday. It is very possible that the buy out for Morris may not be as cut and dry as has been stated. The dollar amount has been said to be either $9,000,000 or $12,000,000. Either one very high. However it was learned that Bielema’s large buyout (still in effect) has a clause stating it could end if he does not seek and I believe obtain “equivalent” employment. So he would basically need to get a job as a P5 head coach or better and he has not done so. Bielema’s monthly buyout payments have been being placed in an escrow account for the past year and it seems new negotiations will have to take place which could reduce Arkansas’s burden immensely.

I would assume the same wording is in Morris’s contract although I have not read it.

I still don't understand why we have these conversations about a school that doesn't directly affect our success.
