Dr. Jeskey was an amazing man. I loved talking to him. I don't remember a professor who loved SMU, including SMU athletics, more.

Dr. Jeskey, Chemistry, he kept things so interesting with his delivery of "Vaaalence", etc. Huge football fan as well.

Dr. Jaskey used to volunteer in the Sports Information Office back in the day, and you're right — he loved the Mustangs. He would almost take it personally when any SMU team lost, because he was legitimately invested in the players. Great guy.

From my graduate studies at SMU, I'd also add Tom Siems from the Lyle School of Engineering and Marian Sobol from Cox.
