Hart Named NACDA 2nd VP
CLEVELAND (NACDA/SMU) — The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced today that SMU Director of Athletics Rick Hart will serve as its 2nd Vice President for the 2020-21 membership year.
Warde Manuel, Director of Athletics at Michigan, will serve as the Association's President, and Jamie Pollard, Iowa State's Director of Athletics, will serve as 1st Vice President. Kim Record, A.D. at UNC Greensboro, will serve as 3rd Vice President and Pennie Parker, Director of Athletics at Rollins College will serve as Secretary.
Hart was previously named Under Armour AD of the Year Award (ADOY) by NACDA. The ADOY Award highlights the efforts of athletics directors at all levels for their commitment and positive contributions to student-athletes, campuses and their surrounding communities. Hart was one of four winners at the FBS level, joined by North Carolina's Bubba Cunningham, Appalachian State's Doug Gillin and Mack Rhoades of Baylor.
