Captain EJ Smith Has Taken His Last VoyageI want to let everyone know that Captain EJ Smith aka Waldorf passed away last month. He died at the age of 54 (after battling cancer) and left a wife, daughter in college, and two sons in high school. He was a good Methodist and active in his church. He and I have had season tickets since '89 and saw a lot of bad football. Thus, Waldorf and Statler were born.
He had the gift of humor which came in handy being a Mustang fan. Here is one of his classic posts after the JJ-Arizona State affair: http://www.ponyfans.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=58853 (His avatar of beating a dead horse makes me smile every time) He will be missed.
Re: Captain EJ Smith Has Taken His Last VoyageVery sad to hear. 54 is far too soon. Thoughts and prayers to his wife and children
