Texas Southern win was really good for them as well as us. IU win was good. Only thing not good today was the Eastern Washington loss.

Hopefully to a quality opponent?

I remember thinking they were a pretty darn well coached team for that level. Mike Davis right? former Indiana Coach. Take a look at their schedule-they have played 10 tough opponents-would be surprised if their SOS is among top in the country

They lost to Sam Houston St on Tuesday and to Cal yesterday.

Yes. Mike Davis. Morris gets hired and everything starts falling into place for SMU. Coincidence - I think not.

Crud..hopefully they improve later in the season. Their conference should not be too tough correct?

So many moving parts today - it will be very interesting to see the updated rankings tomorrow.

I think KenPom had SMU at 35 earlier today (including today's win). 34 now after afternoon games

Does the selection committee even consider Kenpom ratings?

I doubt it. Unfortunately almost all NCAA selections are heavily focused on RPI only.

That is easier said than done. I hope we are not in a position towards the end of conference play where the only way we get in is to win the conference tournament.

Especially with our conference tournament history... I am hoping we roll through the conference and are safe either way, obviously, but we have little margin for error at this point.
