class effort by that woman in preserving this album, and a real treasure for SMU/Cowboy/Mt Vernon fans...

Nicely done.

Cool story. Wish she'd called SMU. Heritage Hall is where those pics belong

Good story, but for the writer not to identify Jim Laughead in that photo is inexcusable. Laughead is the backbone of Heritage Hall and a big part of Dallas history, as well. (Young whippersnappers  )

Guess I should send them this photo of me getting Meredith's autograph in 1961. I was a member of the Cowboys Club, and they had a meeting at St. Mark's High School where a bunch of players came. In the background is Don McIlhenney, who is Lance's dad.

Meredith was always my football hero, and got to sit at a table next to him in Santa Fe a couple of years before he passed.

Turn out the lights, the party's over, it seems that all good things must end.

Good call out. So cool that Brad Bradley is still taking our team photos.

That is one awesome picture. Love it.

Great story - so lucky the scrapbook landed in someone's hands who knew to do the right thing.
