Watching Mike and Mike this morning, the story came across the ESPN ticker:
"Baylor to focus their search for a new football coach on California's Sonny Dykes, after Chad Morris elects to remain with SMU. Morris is expected to sign a contract extension with SMU through 2022."
I just loved it. The headline reads that Baylor tried to get our coach, and was not only rebuffed by Morris, but now he is inking a longer term deal with SMU.
Now we Ponyfans members know that there was more to it than that, but to the AVERAGE espn viewer, all they know is SMU's coach decided to reject an offer from a P5, Big 12 program to remain at SMU long term.
